Down the Rabbit Hole

This outfit is wonderland gone wizard of oz inspired and I have ROMWE to thank for the key pieces that make the outfit pop. I got the lazer cut necklace from them a few months ago and never got the chance to photograph myself for my blog wearing it... as well as the rabbit printed blouse that I absolutely adore! Stay tuned as I am going to be posting a lot more regularly. I am about to leave for my night job so sorry for the rushed post. Hope you like it and don't forget to hype!

On a completely different note, as you may have noticed my hairstyle is at a stage where .. well i don't really know what to do with it. So I am going to hand it over to you guys to decide for me.. What changes should be made.. We all know over time I have had a few different styles but i'm not sure where to go from here. Help!

I'm Back!

It's great to be back and blogging. I had my formal, graduated from highschool and got myself a job in retail. A lot has happened over the last few months and I thank you all for bearing with me in my time of being slack and not posting all too much. I am obsessed with mini dresses, especially those with a gothic chic feel and ROMWE has the greatest selection of these kinds of statement making dresses. Here are five of absolute favourites and great additions to any wardrobe.

1. Peter Pan Collar Black Dress, Click here to shop now | 2. Sleeveless Retro Flower Blue Dress, Click here to shop now | 3. Dog Face Long Black Tunic Dress, Click here to shop now | 4. Girl Print Quilted Black Dress, Click here to shop now | 5. Retro Lapel Black Dress, Click here to shop now

The thing I love most about those sort of dresses is there isn't much more you need to add for a complete outfit. I tried pairing up my gothic chic dress with knee highs, some heels and a handbag and I was quite pleased with the turnout. My dress is a long sleeved version of the 5th dress from ROMWE and has beaded detail along the collar. It's fair to say it has been a handy purchase and has been fit for many occasions.

I have always loved goth trends but have been afraid to take it a little too far, by adding a pair of chunky heels and knee highs I kept it to a "Wednesday Addams" level of goth. I wore red lipstick as a little pop of colour amongst the black. So even though this outfit is slightly funeral-eque, the end result is still stylish and girly. I haven't had a chance to wear my clock handbag for a while so it made it's appearance yet again in this look. I have not been on a proper photoshoot in some time now and have so many things to shoot so I look forward to sharing them all with you soon. Don't forget to check out ROMWE and my lookbook!

Spring is here!

Oh boy it feels like forever since I have done a decent outfit post! Now that the most hectic part of my entire 13 years of schooling is over maybe there will be some more time for me to get back to doing what i love most. With that being said, Spring has hit Australia and it couldn't be better! In this look I paired up my white and blue striped dress from romwe with my brand new shoes from Michael Antonio Studio.

Because I have been working weekends I have spoiled myself a few really bold pairs of shoes. I also paired up my brand new shoes with this look here where I am wearing my Jones and Jones dress.

The shoes are more than comfortable not to mention easy to walk in. They go with just about anything so I am really looking forward to styling them in future. I always get asked how is it that I walk/ wear heels all the time. The answer is simple. Usually when you pay good money for a decent pair of shoes the price reflects the sort of comfort you will be getting. I have had multiple accidents in 15 dollar pairs of shoes that start to fall apart after the second wear. So if you want awesome shoes and at the same time want to avoid falling over or twisting your ankles, the more you pay usually means you are guaranteeing yourself a safe and fashionable statement to any outfit.

Cherubs & Floral Print

Wearing: Wanted Heels, Romwe Cherubs & Floral Print Dress, Beginning Boutique Clutch.

Another simple look featuring this fabulous print dress from Romwe, inspired by D&G, how could I not have one for my own? It's a lot of fun to wear and it certainly is an unusual item of clothing that grabs a lot of attention (Which is one of the reasons why I left this look so simple.)
